DOTHAN:    The City of Dothan collects 13 cents Lodging Tax already. Houston County Commission Chairman Brandon Shoupe and members of the Houston County Commission are asking the registered voters of Houston County to add more to the lodging tax.


This will be one of of the local amendments the registered voters will be voting on Tuesday, November 5. And you are encouraged to vote NO.


The chart will show you what is already collected in the lodging tax.


Dothan Mayor Mark Saliba and members of the Dothan Commission have remained silent. But according the reliable sources, the Dothan Mayor and Commission DO NOT support a yes vote on this issue on November 5.


You are encouraged to vote NO on all local amendments.
