HOUSTON COUNTY: 1:23 PM Houston County 911 dispatched Hodgesville Volunteer Fire Department, Rehobeth Fire - Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Department, and ALEA - Troopers to a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
The accident location was Highway 231 South and DHODGE Road. The 911 callers reported two vehicles, t-bone type accident.
On arrival of emergency units the accident was a three vehicle accident. All vehicles were on DHODGE and edge of Highway 231. The vehicles were occupied by several persons.
Rehobeth Rescue transported two patients to a Dothan hospital. One is beleived to have a broken wrist. The injuries were not life threatening.
Houston County Sheriff Patrol Sergeant McKinney and Rehobeth Fire Chief Nick Floyd along with Hodgesville Fire Chief Beau Deathridge and members of several volunteer fire departments, to include Madrid Volunteer Fire were on the scene.
ALEA - Troopers are in charge of the accident invevstigation.
