DOTHAN:     After the article "COMMISSIONERS ARE LYING AND ON THE WAY TO SPLITTING  CHURCH," there were several comments on FACEBOOK.


While I respond to some comments, a lot I do not respond to because the comments get way out there.


But some "misinformed and unable to read" person commented that RSN was against Local Amendment 1 because I was supporting Southeast Health because  they advertised with RSN.


Southeast Health DOES NOT advertise with RSN. In fact, at one time they had RSN blocked from their WIFI if you were connected while at the hospital.


While I met CEO Rick Sutton one time, at ACOM, when he first came to Dothan, I have never met him again. And I think I casually spoke twice when I saw him and his wife at a Dothan restaurant. That was just as we walked past each other and neither of us stopped.


The opposition to Local Amendment 1 is not because Southeast Health advertises with RSN. Now Flowers Hospital does, and I do not know their opinion on this issue.


The standpoint of RSN opposition is: the Houston County Commission Chairman and Commissioners have not done Amendment 1 for the best interest of healthcare or the community. It is 100% a power grab because they did not get their way. In fact, the Houston County Commission Chairman and Commissioners need PAMPERS DIAPERS because this is only a "I am not getting my way so I will show you" power grab.


RSN wrote a article when I was sick that I could not go to Southeast Health with Sutton there because I would probably go from the Emergency Department to the morgue. While I honestly do not think that would happen, when I was sick I went to Flowers Hospital.


My grandson went to Southeast Health where Dr. Fred Pich was responsible for saving his life. Had him flown to Children's Hospital. My trip to Southeast Health was because of Dr. Fred Pich, who is no longer at Southeast Health. Dr. Pich, who was not a doctor then, was in my wedding.


So nothing I have written is because RSN makes any money from Southeast Health. It is written because I have been around since 1977, I have seen what has happened, I know the games being played by the Houston County Commission and Chairman, and they are not telling the truth, just partial truths to pull on your strings.


And their attempts to change ARE NOT FOR THE RIGHT REASON, NOT FOR THE BEST OF HEALTHCARE, NOT FOR THE BEST OF HOUSTON COUNTY. 


It is purely for a power grab ego of the Houston County Commission Chairman and Houston County Commissioners.


VOTE NO ON ALL LOCAL AMENDMENTS
