HOUSTON COUNTY:    5:27 PM    The Houston County Commission Chairman, Brandon Shoupe, and D3 Commissioner/Sheriff Sergeant Ricky Herring, along with the other Houston County Commissioners have "claimed" to be doing what they were asked.

And thet "claim" they were asked by the people to change the appointment process of the Southeast Health Authority. But the commission has done a lot, to include being involved in forming a PAC to get people to vote YES on amendment 1.

Chairman Shoupe stated the commission wanted "transparency". Seconds after that statement Chairman Shoupe was asked about the PAC. He admitted to donating money though a corporation he owned. Chairman Shoupe admitted to knowing who formed the PAC but refused to be "transparent" and say who.

Today the PAC, famous for mass text messaging, sent mass text messages asking people to vote yes.

RSN urges everyone to vote NO on all amendments on the ballot.

The Houston County Commission CHairman and Commissioner have not been open and honest on this issue. They have told half truth's. There is a lot more to this push and a lot of it is go and power grabs by the Commission.

FYI - Southeast Health does not advertise with me. The reason for my opposition is the commission is not doing this for what is best for the people of Houston County. Their intentions are not pure and honest.
