DALEVILLE:    On or about September 13, 2024 Daleville Department of Public Safety - Police Divison, made two arrests in reference to child abuse from Happy Hearts Christisan Academy Daycare in Daleville.

The arrests followed Daleville Department of Public Safety - Police Division being notified by Medical Center Enterprise on September 12, 2024 on allegations of child abuse. Daleville launched an investigation.

The investigation revelaed the parent of a minor child stated their child had bruises and swelling when the child was picked up from daycare. Those were not present when the child was left that morning.

Following the investigation Daleville Department of Public Safety - Police - Criminal Investigation Division arrested 20 year old Kalley Gilley of Daleville and 30 year old Magan Koker of Enterprise on multiple counts of child abuse.

As the investigation continued this afternoon Daleville Department of Poublic Safety - Police Division arrested both Gilley and Koker on additional charges. The two were initially booked into the Daleville Department of Public Safety - Jail and later transported to the Dale County Jail. All persons charged with felony offenses are booked into the County Jail.

At the time of this writing the exact details of the charges are unknown.
