SPARKS TECHNICAL COLLEGE and WALLCE COMMUNITY COLLEGE:    Today Dr. Linda  Young, long time President of Sparks Technical College and Wallace College announced her upcoming retirement plans.

For the past 36 years Dr. Linda Young has served as President of Sparks Technical College and Wallace Community College. 

Dr. Linda Young, the textbook definition of a lady, has led the colleges, with the staff, to serve the students needs in providing them with many education opportunities. Dr. Young has been a very humble lady, always being available, and always willing to go the extra miles to help people achieve their goals and as she described in her letter "achieve their dreams".

Dr. Young will remain as President of noth colleges until October 1, 2024. She will continue to show up and do her job in leading the colleges through her retirement date.

TO DR. LINDA YOUNG - many thanks from each and every faculty member over the past 36 years and all students through the 36 years for your dedication and service. For allowing student with many opportunities and making things happen for each on to "achieve teir dreams".

We wish great things for you as you enjoy time for Linda to do what Linda wants.
