KINSEY:      Houston County 911 dispatched Kinsey Police, Kinsey Volunteer Fire, Headland Fire - Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Department to a wreck with  injuries on Highway 431 at Burdeshaw Road.

Houston County 911 reported the accident involved a semi truck and vehicle, injuries unknown.

The first unit to arrive was Kinsey Police Sgt.Josh Waybright. Shortly after his arrivalSgt. Waybright reported minor injuries, units responding could downgrade. Waybright asked Kinsey Volunteer Fire to continue,non emergency, to assist with traffic control.

Kinsey Volunteer Fire Chief/Kinsey Mayor Jason Reneau and members of Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department are on the scene.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene assisting.

Kinsey Police Department is in charge of the accident investigation.

Headland Fire - Rescue serves as a fire backup to Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department and Kinsey Volunteer Fire serves as a fire backup to Headland.

Headland EMS is the primary EMS responder for the Town of Kinsey and does a great job in services provided. Under Headland Mayor Ray Marler, the City of Headland has a top notch Fire and EMS department with state of the art equipment, highly trained personnel, staffed 24/7/365 and awaiting for the 911 call that has not happened yet.
