PLEASE REMEMBER JEREMY IN YOUR PRAYERS


OZARK:   If you know me, you know I don't post just because I overthink everything.
But I feel like it's time that I make this one.



It is a post no parent EVER wants to make.



Our oldest son, Jeremy started bruising about 2 months ago. A month later, he had a blood vessel burst in his hand that sent him to urgent care for bloodwork. The next day Sept 8, he was called and told to get to the hospital ER ASAP. His platelet levels were critical. He hasn't been home since.



He spent 6 days in Dothan where he was diagnosed with APL leukemia. He was transferred the next day to UAB. He will be there this time until at least Oct 20 where he is receiving chemo. The treatment will continue for 7 more months.


We are hoping to get at least part of the subsequent -one month on -one month off- chemo treatments in Dothan.



Jeremy has had a rough time of being sick but thankfully God put a caring Dr and a conscientious nurse in his path this week that has led him to a medicine combination that as of 2 days ago has made all the difference in the world.


Jeremy has done his best to keep a positive attitude and is always saying "God's got this".
I have spent almost everyday with him so he's not fighting this alone while Todd has had to keep the home, farm and business going.



I want to thank my parents who have graciously stepped in for a couple stays to allow me to come home.



We want to thank some precious friends who have started a fundraiser to help Jeremy so if you see it...



We want to thank everyone, especially our church family at Omega Holiness Church, for their support during this time.


We appreciate everyone that has called, texted, sent cards, snacks or just prayed for us.


God is the only reason we've made it this far and we are believing that He will see Jeremy all the way through to the other side.
