SLOCOMB - WICKSBURG - ENTERPRISE - TROY:    Last Sunday EMS units from Slocomb Fire - Rescue, Wicksburg Fire - Rescue, Enterprise Rescue, and Troy Fire - Rescue deployed to St. Petersburg Florida.


They have been working non stop since the arrival on Saturday night moving people from nursing homes and other facilities to safety.


Today the crews were deployed to Miami Florida for safety with the incoming hurricane. As soon as it has hit and moved the crews will leave Miami in an emergency response back to the St. Petersburg area.


But as of right now, for the first time since arrival on Sunday, they all have had baths in regular baths, and in a regular bed, SAFE, in Miami Florida. And then ready for deployment in the morning and back to work.


THANK YOU to the Slocomb City Council and Mayor, Slocomb Fire Chief, the Board of Directors of Wicksburg Fire - Rescue and Fire Chief, the Board of Directors of Enterprise Rescue and Command Team, The Troy City Council and Mayor, Troy Fire Chief for your willingness to deploy teams to help our neighbor state in a time of disaster.


THANK YOU to the teams who have remained to make sure everything, locally, is cared for and the locals get the service they deserve.

Just wanted everyone to know the local who deployed are safe as the hurricane has made landfall.
