NEWTON - DALE COUNTY - HOUSTON COUNTY: 9:16 PM Newton Police called Ozark -Dale County 911 of a pursuit.
The chase passed John Hutto Park and was reported at speeds of 90 miles per hour.
9:17 PM The vehicle was traveling towards Lonnie Watson Road. The vehicle described as a white Chevrolet Impala, reported to belong to a rental agency out of Mobile.
9:18 PM The suspect vehicle was traveling towards 5 points, County Road 31 and County Road 43. Dale County Sheriff Deputies and Pinckard Police responding.
9:21 PM The suspect vehicle was traveling on Highway 84, west bound towards Daleville at speeds of 103 miles per hour. Daleville Police responding.
9:22 PM The suspect flipped around and was traveling east on Highway 84 back into Houston County. Houston County Sheriff Deputies responding.
9:24 PM The suspect vehicle was still east bound on Highway 84, crossed Highway 123, speeds reported at 115 miles per hour.
9:25 PM The suspect turned left ( north ) off Highway 84 at Lee Boy Road. Newton Police still in pursuit. Pinckard Police, Dale County Sheriff Deputies, ALEA - Troopers and Houston County Sheriff Deputies still rolling to assist.
9:27 PM Newton Police notified Ozark - Dale County 911 that Newton Police and the suspect had wrecked, with injuries, at Lee Boy Road and Deal Road. Multiple law enforcement were rolling to the Newton Officer.
9:32 PM Dale County Sheriff Mason Bynum left this house and rolled to the scene. Wicksburg Fire - Rescue responded. A Dale County Sheriff Tahoe rear end was trying to catch on fire and officers used fire extinguishers to put it out.
Two suspects are in custody.
9:57 PM Wicksburg Rescue has left the scene, non-emergency, transporting the Newton Police Officer to Flowers Hospital. Multiple law enforcement officers are still on the scene.
ALEA - Troopers will be in charge of investigating the accident.
