A DeFuniak Springs Man is Arrested on Drug and Weapons charges after a Traffic stop for not Wearing his seat Belt in Walton County

WALTON COUNTY:A deputy stopped the vehicle on 19th Street near Orange Avenue. When approaching the vehicle he noticed a smell of burnt marijuana coming from inside the car.
Mark Thompson, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of an altered firearm, obstruction, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thompson was issued a $15,000 bond and is still incarcerated at the time of this.
