The Angel Of Hope is 8 years old now and each day that goes by I love her more and more.
On November 20th, 2016 ( 8 Years Ago ) My Dream Became A Reality…To Have The Angel Of Hope Statue Erected At Westgate Park…A Place Where Parents And Family Members Could Always Come To Find Some Comfort From Knowing That Their Child Would Never Be Forgotten.
Eight Years Have Passed And I Know From All The Phone Calls, Text Messages, Letters And From The Hundreds Of Grieving Parents I Have Met At The Angel Of Hope That They Do Find Comfort Knowing That The Angel Of Hope Is Here For Their Child.
I Have Never Lost A Child Thankfully So When I Came Up With The Idea For The Angel Of Hope I Had No Idea What I Was Doing…I Just Knew I Didn’t Want A Child Forgotten.
But There’s No Doubt In My Mind That God Was In Control And He Has Guided Me Every Step Of The Way.
To Every Parent I Have Met Along The Way…YOU Have Also Helped Guide Me…No One Can Understand Your Pain Unless They Themselves Have Lost A Child..Born Or Unborn.
Even Though I Have Spoken To Hundreds Of Parents Who Have Lost A Child, I Don’t Know The Pain And Heartache That They Are Feeling.
What I Do Know Is…We Can All Just Listen Without Giving Advice And Offer Them Our Shoulders To Cry On And Give Them Lots Of Loving Hugs.
December 6th At 7PM Is The Annual Candlelight Vigil At The Angel Of Hope Statue At Westgate Park.
I Look Forward To Seeing You There
