ACCOUNTABILITY AND WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE “NO” ON LOCAL AMENDMENT 1
A lot has been made of the Houston County Local Amendment 1 over the past few months.
Half-truths, misleading statements, county commissioners recording meetings and then releasing only a portion of the recordings, total ignorance and deceitfulness of the proposed amendment by the county commission.
Most of us who read this site opposed the Affordable Care Act when it was passed by Congress because we didn’t want government in our healthcare. Now this group of county commissioner “BUREAUCRATS” wants to have sole control of who is appointed as members to the Healthcare board.
The board of Southeast Health is ACCOUNTABLE to 3000 plus employees and every citizen who chooses Southeast Health for their medical care.
No “BUREAUCRATS”, just everyday working families who don’t want politics in their healthcare.
I have always heard, when a “BUREAUCRAT” wants to control something (in this case Houston County Healthcare) they always tell us the taxpayer that they are accountable to the voter.
Reality over the years, in politics the “BUREAUCRATS” are accountable to their donors and special interest.
Don’t be deceived by the “crafty” wording on the ballot.
Vote NO and let's keep the “BUREAUCRATS” away from Houston County Healthcare
