Arrested Made from Search Warrant for Methamphetamine in Walton County

WALTON COUNTY:Walton County Sheriff’s Office VICE/Narcotics Unit pulled the pin on a Search Warrant on Swanee Avenue in DeFuniak Springs late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning that landed one behind bars.
During the search of the home, 11 grams of a crystal-like substance was located in the shower of the master bedroom. We know, weird place to hide your methamphetamine.
Investigators also located drug paraphernalia including small plastic bags, a digital scale, and a glass pipe in the shape of a dooey-kablooey.
Michael Carr, Jr, 43, admitted to investigators the drugs were his and he tried to stash the bag before opening the door. He was arrested and booked into the Walton County Jail for possession of methamphetamine.
Carr was given a $5,000 bond and is still incarcerated at the time of this release.
