Bonifay Fire Rescue Has Responded to Three Vehicle Accidents last 24 hours

BONIFAY FLA :A single vehicle accident occurred around 11:00am yesterday on Interstate 10. The vehicle struck a guardrail and had evidence of it being rolled over. Chief 1 arrived first and checked the vehicle occupants for injuries. BFD disabled the vehicle battery.
A commercial vehicle accident had the east bound lane shut down temporally last night. A truck hauling bees was involved, resulting in swarms of bees all around. Firefighter McKee was on scene within 2 minutes and established command. First responders worked to clear the roadway and treat the patients while enduring several bee stings themselves.
A single vehicle accident on Highway 173 occurred around 2:00am this morning. A vehicle left the roadway and struck a fence, coming to a rest on its side in the wood line. Firefighter Hudson arrived on scene with Bonifay Police Department and assessed one person for injuries until Holmes County EMS - FL arrived. BFD assisted with traffic control. Holmes County Sheriff’s Office was also on scene
