Child hit by car while trick-or-treating: Enterprise police

ENTERPRISE—On Halloween night, a child was struck by a car while trick-or-treating, according to Enterprise police.
EPD was dispatched to Porter Lunsford Road, where they discovered a six-year-old child was struck by a vehicle.
The child was alert and coherent after the incident, but was transported to Medical Center Enterprise.
The driver, under 18, did not see the child crossing the street.
The driver was given a citation for speeding and released to their parents.
The wreck is still under investigation.
