CUBMOBILE DERBY WINNERS

DOTHAN—Kids and parents gathered at the fairgrounds this morning for a homemade Cubmobile Derby.
Racers and their guardians worked together to build, design and finally race custom Cubmobiles.
Levi Godwin, #33, won first place; Bronner Maxwell, #95, won second place; and Hunter Strickland, #44, won third place.
Lelan Diaz, #57, took home the prize for the best-designed cubmobile. Nikeela Phagoo, #55, won an award for the best paint. Coleman Fletcher, #86, won for having the best theme. Brennan Smith, #3, was awarded for having the most original car.
Winners received trophies from the event’s sponsor, Buffalo Rock Pepsi.
