DPD searching for driver accused of causing Dothan crash, knocking traffic pole

DOTHAN—Dothan Police are looking for the driver they say caused a two-vehicle wreck at Third Avenue and Selma Street this afternoon.


Dothan Police said the driver of a Ford Taurus crashed into another car, spun out, and hit a traffic pole.


The driver of the Ford Taurus allegedly drove away before leaving the car and running away.


The driver of the other vehicle sustained light injuries and did not go to a hospital.


Dothan Utilities are still working on repairing the traffic light at the intersection of Third Ave. and Selma St.
