DOTHAN—Peanuts are an important part of the history of the Wiregrass—visit Landmark Park’s Fall Farm day on Saturday to take a step into the past and learn more about life 100 years ago! 


Come to watch how peanuts were harvested in the Wiregrass in days past. You can enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of cane grinding, syrup making, butter churning, soap making and other traditional farm activities. Also enjoy a petting zoo with different kinds of farm animals. 


Music, antique tractors, wagon rides, vendors and the largest quilt display in the Wiregrass will also be featured. 


The event is Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Prices: $10 for adults; $8 for seniors and military; $6 for kids; free for park members and children 2 and under.
