OCSO Investigates Reported Sexual Battery

OKALOOSA COUNTY :The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a teen says she was sexually assaulted inside a storage unit in Fort Walton Beach.

The teen says she left a Mountain Dew on the curb outside a convenience store at 1209 Miracle Strip Parkway September 30th around 6:30 p.m. She told deputies she walked away to tell a friend goodbye, then came back about ten minutes later and began drinking her soda. The teen also reported she became woozy and blacked out, and woke up in a storage unit on Hollywood Boulevard where she was sexually assaulted by a 6'2" tall black male with a short full beard and dreadlocks.

She says he was driving a white van and dropped her off at 9 Eglin Parkway around 8:30 at p.m.
