Ozark Police investigating Halloween stabbing; man wanted for murder

OZARK—Ozark Police and Dale County Sheriff's Office are investigating a deadly Halloween stabbing. 


Authorities were called to the 100 block of Frank Marshall Road, where they found 43-year-old Eric Lamont Eutsey, from Ozark. He had multiple stab wounds, and he was taken to Dale County Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. 


Investigators received warrants on a nearby home and vehicle.


The suspect is currently 58-year-old Marcus Lee Slater, from Ozark. A motive is unclear.


Witnesses say they say Slater running away from the scene.


Slater is still at large, wanted for murder.


Authorities ask anyone who may know his whereabouts to contact local law enforcement.
