Pursuit Leads to Arrest of Graceville Man by Holmes County Sheriff's

HOLMES COUNTY:On July 21, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputy attempted to stop a Mustang traveling on Hwy 2, driven by Jason Canen.


When the deputy initiated the traffic stop, the vehicle accelerated and began to flee. The pursuit continued into Jackson County, ending on Mill Creek Road where the vehicle came to a stop.



Jason Canen was taken into custody without further incident. He is charged with fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement, and reckless driving.
