Traffic Stop and K9 Alert Leads to Drug Arrest

HOLMES COUNTY: On October 31, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Corolla on Reddick Mill Road. K9 Lasso was deployed to perform a free air sniff around the vehicle, alerting to the presence of narcotics.
A subsequent search of the passenger, identified as William Armstrong, revealed a glass meth pipe containing methamphetamine in the cargo pocket of his pants. Armstrong was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
