Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests for Outstanding Warrant and Drug Possession

HOLMES COUNTY: On November 11, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on Newton Road in Esto. The driver, identified as Bobby Adams, was found to have an active warrant out of Holmes County. During a search of the passenger, Jesse Sheffield, deputies discovered a plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine in his pants pocket.



Both individuals were arrested: Adams on the outstanding warrant and Sheffield for Possession of Methamphetamine.
