Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

HOLMAS COUNTY: On November 17, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Joseph Durso on Highway 81. During the stop, K9 Paycheck was deployed for a free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics.



A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a glass pipe containing methamphetamine. Durso admitted to knowing the pipe was in the vehicle. He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
