ASHFORD: 9:43 PM. Houston County 911 dispatched a structure fire at 222 Sixth Avenue in Ashford.
The reports to Houston County 911 and units arriving on the scene report smoke and flames visible.
Ashford Fire, Cowarts Fire, Ashford Rescue and Ashford Police are on the scene.
9:56 PM. AShford Fire Chief Jimmy Posey reports water on fire. Ashford Rescue reports all occupants are accounted for.
Active working fire.

Ashford Fire Chief Jimmy Posey has reported this structure fire is a possible arson. Chief Posey has called for Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigators and will notify the Alabama Fire Marshall assigned to this area.

Ashford Fire Chief Jimmy Posey reports fire under control and working hot spots. Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigator Brandon Barnes has left his residence and responding to the Ashford structure fire.
