COLUMBIA— Houston County 911 dispatched a wreck between a truck and a school bus, with children on it, at Highway 52 an July Road near Columbia.
Columbia Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the scene. Columbia Police, Houston County Sheriff Department, and ALEA - Troopers dispatched.
Houston Cunty Schools Superintendent Brandy White is also on scene. Also the principal from Houston County High School and Houston County School BOard Member Vince Wade.

There were no injuries. A Honda Accord struck the school bus from behind. Both the bus and Honda Accord were east bound on Highway 52.
Ashford Rescue responded to the scene. No one was transported. The children were well cared for by emergency responders and school officials.
ALEA - Trooper Smith is in charge of the accident investigation. ALEA - Trooper Goad was on the scene. Deputies Berry, Vann and Sgt. Nowell with Houston County Sheriff Department were on the scene. Columbia Police Chief Wesley Harrison was on the scene.
