GORDON - HOUSTON COUNTY:    6:59 PM.    Houston County 911 has dispatched Gordon Police Chief Keith Gray, Ashford Rescue, Lucy Volunteer Fire Department, Houston County Sheriff Department, Gordon Volunteer Fire Department and ALEA - Troopers to a critical injury wreck.

The accident location is 3100 block of South County Road 95 S., which rests between Barksdale Road and N. Jerusalem Road.

Reports to 911 from a semi truck driver passer by, a Jeep has flipped in the ditch.

Emergency units are rolling to the scene At this time.

UPDATED @ 7:12 PM.  

Houston County 911 has launched Survival Flight to respond to this accident. Reports the patient is unresponsive and was possibly ejected from the vehicle.

7:13 PM.   Gordon Police Chief Keith Gray has just arrived on the scene of the accident.

UPDATED @ 7:15 PM.  

Gordon Police Chief Keith Gray reports the injury is breathing and conscious. Chief Gray reports head trauma.

Survival Flight has a 30 minute flight time to the scene.

7:17 PM.    Gordon Volunteer Fire has arrived on the scene.

UPDATED @ 7:20 PM.   

Ashford Rescue has requested Dothan Fire Department Advanced Life Support mutual aid assistance respond. At this time Ashford Rescue, which arrived on the scene at 7:19 PM, is on the scene. Dothan Fire is rolling to the scene and if Ashford Rescue leaves the scene they will meet Dothan Fire Department.

Survival Flight is also in the air responding. If they arrive before Ashford Rescue leaves then they will land and take the patient or board the ambulance.

Survival Flight can land ahead of the ambulance while in transport if the advanced life support team determines the patient needs to be transported to a higher level trauma center.

UPDATED @ 7:27 PM.   

Ashford Rescue has left the scene and transporting towards Southeast Health, emergency - trauma alert. Dothan Fire will meet them in transit.

7:29 PM.    Dothan Fire Engine Company 4 ( Southside ) is one mile out of Ashford, east bound at this time.

UPDATED @ 7:36 PM.   

Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) and Ashford Rescue have just met on Highway 84. The Dothan Fire Department Advanced Life Support Team will be boarding Ashford Rescue Ambulance to assist them in patient treatment.

UPDATED @ 7:42 PM.  

Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) and Ashford Rescue have left the place where they met ( Pansey ) and continued the trip emergency, trauma alert, to Southeast Health. Dothan Fire Advanced Life Support team is on board with Ashford Rescue.

UPDATED @ 7:53 PM.  

Ashford Rescue with Dothan Fire Engine Company Crew from Station 4 ( Southside ) have arrived at Southeast Health with the trauma patient.
