HARTFORD:    6:54 AM        Hartford Police Department, Geneva County Sheriff Department, Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms, ALEA - SBI are on the scene of a triple shooting. Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms is on the scene.

All three are injured. No one was killed.

The scene is on North Third Avenue in Hartford. Multiple law enforcement officers are on the scene at this time processing the crime scene. 

This was some type of gathering spot. The details are unknown at this time.

The firearm assault(s) occurred around 1:30 AM this morning. Hartford Fire - Rescue and Slocomb Fire - Rescue responded to the scene.

Reports are one patient was a "load and go" for Hartford Fire - Rescue. Slocomb Fire - Rescue was not able to locate any additional patients. It was later determined the patients had been transported by private vehicle to Southeast Health in Dothan.

The scene looked like a war zone. Probably more than 50 shell casings on the ground.

Along with Hartford Police, Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms and members of Geneva County Sheriff Department along with Captain David Hall of ALEA - SBI and other agents have been on the scene and processing evidence.

Hartford Police is undergoing some issues at this time. Not stepping on toes, but Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms wants a message sent - THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Sheriff Helms and members of Geneva County Sheriff Department will work closely with Hartford Police Department in making sure Hartford remains the same calm city it has always been.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Geneva County Sheriff Department with the information.
