DOTHAN— 9:15 a.m. Dothan Fire, Dothan Police, Pilcher Ambulance Rescue responding to a call about a female with a gunshot wound on Florida Avenue in Dothan.

Multiple Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance are on the scene. Dothan Police Criminal Investigators are on the scene.
Dothan Fire Paramedics are treating the patient.

Multiple Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies are on South Alice Street at Somerset in Henry Green Apartments. While not confirmed there is possibly one person in custody. It looks as if one person is in a Dothan Police Patrol vehicle but UNCONFIRMED at this time.
The officers are in a huddle discussing the situation.
Dothan Criminal Investigators and Vice Officers are on the scene.

Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies were on the scene within minutes of the Firearm Assault on Florida Avenue at Henry Green Apartments.
Dothan 911 Staff did an excellent job in obtaining suspect information which was dispatched to units. The suspect was quickly located at Henry Green Apartments along with the vehicle the suspect was reported on.
RSN reports within minutes; it was within about 10 minutes of the firearm assault the suspect vehicle and suspect was located at Henry Green Apartments and taken into custody.
Dothan Police have the suspect detained in a Dothan Police Patrol unit. The officers are obtaining a search warrant to allow search of the suspect vehicle.
Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies had both scenes wrapped up quickly.
And Dothan 911 staff, the voice you hear but the people you never see, did an OUTSTANDING job in obtaining and dispatching information that enabled the men and women in the field to quickly locate and apprehend the suspect and possible evidence.
UNCONFIRMED but the firearm injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
