WCSO FWC Searching for Missing Boster Near Morrison Springs

WALTON COUNTY : Walton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of a missing boater Sunday morning in Morrison Springs.



Johnathon Smith was reported missing by a friend who was separated with Smith after he said they launched their boats together on October 11th.



Smith was reported to be in a blue colored Jon Boat with only a trolling motor and his dog.



WCSO is currently utilizing the Morrison Springs Boat ramp to conduct the search. Florida Fish & Wildlife has also launched drones and boats to aid in the search.



Please avoid the area if possible, to allow for first responders to look for Smith. Anyone with information regarding his location please call (850)-892-8111.
