HOUSTON COUNTY: Before the primary election RSN told everyone that Houston County Commission Chairman Brandon Shoupe was attempting to purchase Tri-State Graphics.
Brandon Shoupe came out with some FACEBOOK post attempted to deflect the truth. Shoupe’s pattern and practice is that he attempts to deflect the truth with a partial truth.
Apparently this weekend Brandon Shoupe did a FACEBOOK reel. Shoupe admitted that good staff at both Houston County and Tri-State Graphics will allow him the time to “split” his time between being Chairman of the Houston County Commission and Vice President of Tri-State Graphics.
The position of Chairman of the Houston County Commission, as RSN understands is $ 130,000.00. Through the attorney for the Houston County Commission, Press Register, the “transparent” Houston County Commission is not transparent. The Chairman and Commission blocked a freedom of information request for the salaries of the Chairman and Commissioners.
Shoupe finally admitted the truth he blocked from the public knowing.
SHOUPE does not plan to be a fulltime Houston County Commission Chairman, which are in his own words.
Currentlly Houston County has two new Commissioners taking office in November. Next week there is a runoff in District 2 Commissioner between Incumbent Tracy Adams and Chris Love.
Houston County can not afford the members of the current Houston County Commission to go back for 4 years. Under this commission leadership, you the citizens will be paying more in every fee and charge this commission can increase. They have mismanaged the funds of this county and are struggling to operate. Under Brandon Shoupe’s leadership this county is in dangerous fiinancial condition. And D2 does not need a yes man for Brandoon Shoupe but someone who will protect the citizens.
Look back to RSN alerting about Tr-State Graphics. So after the election and secure for his $ 130,000.00 a year salary, and retirement, Chairman Shoupe decided to say folks Rickey Stokes did know what he was saying.
While I like Tracy, Houston County can not afford another 4 years and need to elect Chris Love. If not, DO NOT COMPLAIN with what Brandon Shoupe, with Tracy Adams help, will be strapping on you to pay.
