DOTHAN: 02:42 AM Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 1904 Stonebridge Road. The person reporting advised Dothan 911 smoke and flames.
Multiple Dothan Fire Engine Companies, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police responded.
On arrival, Dothan Fire Engine Company 1- ( West Main ) reported the fence was on fire. All incoming units were instructed to go to Level 1 staging on arrival. Level 1 staging is, do not connect to fire hydrant, but prepare to do so, and wait further instructions from primary fire engine company.
Dothan Fire Engine Company did an aggressive offensive fire attack on the fence and got the fire out. The fire had not reached the structure.
The fire was quickly under control. By 3:06 Am Dothan Fire Engine Company 1 ( Central ) and Engine Company 3 ( Whatley Drive ) had returned to the station.
