DOTHAN: 12:06 AM Dothan 911 dispatched firearm assault followed by shots fired, multiple shots fired, 2855 Ross Clark Circle, Crazy Monkey Bar.
At the time of dispatch responding officers were advised two vehicles left the parking lot at a high rate of speed traveling south on Ross Clark Circle. Responding units were advised of auto descriptions. Responding Units were also advised multiple subjects last seen running from the Crazy Monkey Bar towards Barstone Apartments.
Some Dothan Police Patrol units responded to the bar, some towards Barstone Apartments, and some traveling south from Crazy Monkey attempting to intercept the two vehicles that left. Dothan Police Patrol intercepted the vehicles at or near Prevatt and Ross Clark Circle. The firearm assault victim was in the vehicle and the vehicles were transporting to Southeast Health.
PRELIMINARY INFORMATION is firearm assault victim was shot in the abdomen. Condition unknown at the time of this article.
Dothan Police Patrol Division requested Criminal Investigation Division and Crime Scene Evidence Technician respond.
About 4:00 AM Dothan Police issued a BOLO ( Be On Look Out ) for the suspect.
Dothan Police is in charge of the investigation.
