HOUSTON COUNTY: On Sunday eveng Houston County 911 dispatchers rolled Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Early County Sheriff Department, Houstoon County Rescue and Survival Flight to the Chattachochee River to a missing boater.
The boater was suppose to have been home about 3 hours earlier. Apparently his cell phone had died. WASP ( Wiregrass Aviation Support ) and Henry County Sheriff Aviation were unable to accept the flight mission so Survival FLight responded to fly the river and look for the boater.
Hapy to report the boater was found, safe, and returned safely to land.
Houston County Sheriff Lt. Bradley SHaw was in command of the situation and all went perfect.
