DOTHAN: 02:00 AM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to a motor vehicle accident, with injuries, in the 2700 block of Ross Clark Circle. The accident was neat CAR MAX on Ross Clark Circle.
At the time of the 911 call, the information was a roll over accident with a person ejected.
On arrival of emergency units it was determined this was a traffic fatality. Dothan Police called out the specialized traffic investigation unit, CRASH TEAM, to respond. Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd was called to the scene of the accident.
The north bound lanes of traffic were closed for an extended period of time. As of 5:31 AM the north bound lanes were still closed.
Dothan Police is in charge of the accident investigation.
