DOTHAN: 07:35 AM Dothan 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident in the 900 block of West Main Street. A Houston County Sheriff Deputy came up on the accident moments after Dothan dispatched the accident. The call was upgraded to a accident with moderate injuries.
Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire Engine 10 ( Whatley Drive ), Pilcher Ambulance and Traffic Officers from Dothan Police Department.
Three vehicles, all west bound on Main, just west of Montana Street, in the inside lane carashed. A chain reaction in that vehicle number 1 stopped, was then vehicle number 2 crashed into the rear of number 1, then vehicle number 3 crashed into the rear of vehicle number 2. Or 3 crashed first into 2 and then 2 into 1. Anyway, a chain reaction.
One person transported, non emergency, by Pilcher ambulance to a Dothan hospital.
Dothan Police Officer Allen Hendrickson is in charge of the accident investigation.
