ELBA:    08:28 AM.    Coffee County 911 dispatched Elba Police, Coffee County Sheriff Deputies, Enterprise Police to Dorsey Trailers in Elba.

The manager is reported to have been shot in the back by an apparent employee.

The patient is being transported by air to a trauma center.

No more details at this time.

The suspect is identified but still at large. The primary investigative agency is Elba Police Department being assisted by Coffee County Sheriff Scott Byrd and members of Coffee County Sheriff Department.

The suspect has been identified. UNCONFIRMED information he was an employee who had just been terminated or was about to be terminated.

From various sources and UNCONFIRMED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT … first, the manager gunshot injuries are not considered life threatening.

UNCONFIRMED by law enforcement, the manager escorted a hispanic male employee from the grounds of Dorsey Trailers in Elba. UNCONFIRMED the hispanic male went to his vehicle, retrieved a firearm, and returned and fired shots over the fence, one which struck the manager in the back.

As of 1:14 PM, to my knowledge, the suspect is still at large.

UNCONFIRMED, but some say that some illegals were employed at Dorsey Trailers. Not saying this is fact, just information that has been provided.
