UPDATE: Propane Truck Rollover in Level Plains Causes Lane Closures on Highway 84
DALE COUNTY – LEVEL PLAINS
09:31 a.m.
Emergency crews remain on the scene of a propane truck rollover at the intersection of Highway 84 and Dale County Road 705 in the Level Plains area.
Ozark–Dale County 911 initially dispatched the call at approximately 9:31 a.m., reporting a vehicle wreck involving a propane truck with possible entrapment.
Multiple agencies responded, including Level Plains Police, Dale County Sheriff’s Office, ALEA State Troopers, Enterprise Police, and Enterprise Fire & Rescue.
According to officials on scene, the driver overcorrected, causing the propane truck to roll over. Authorities confirmed the driver was able to exit the vehicle on his own and was walking around the scene. He reportedly suffered cuts to his arm, but no life-threatening injuries were reported.
Due to the rollover, one eastbound lane and one westbound lane of Highway 84 are currently closed as crews work to secure the area and investigate the crash.
Motorists are urged to use caution, expect delays, and consider alternate routes while emergency personnel remain on scene.
