Excited to be coaching basketball and flag in my hometown!! Let’s go wolves!!
Trey is the soon of Rev. Jim and Mrs. Judith Tate. He grew up most of his life at Memphis Baptist Church and attended Rehobeth High School. At Rehobeth, Trey lettered in basketball, football and golf. A 2018 graduate of Auburn University, Trey was a member of Coach Bruce Pearl’s 2015 – 2018 basketball team, A 3 time Academic SEC Honor Roll member.
Trey went onto serve as Assistant Football Coach at Summit High School from 2019 – 2022. Trey played for TSSAA State Championship 3 straight years from 2019 – 2021, winning in 2020. Trey also served as Assistant Basketball COach at Summit High School from 2018 – 2023.
Trey served as Assistant Flag Football Coach at Summit High School in the first 2 years of flag in the State of Tennessee. They were runner up in the Tennessee Titans end of the year invitational in year 2. Served as Head basketball coach at Mt. Julieth High School from 2023 – 2026. Assistant flag football coach from 2024 – 2026. Finished as the 2026 state-runner up.
