HOUSTON COUNTY: 01:13 AM Houston County 911 dispatched Wicksburg Volunteer Fire – Rescue, Bay Springs Volunteer Fire, Houston County Sheriff Deputies and ALEA – Dispatched dispathced ALEA Troopers to a critical motor vehicle accident at 1:13 AM.
The accident location was 534 N. County Road 9, between Searcy Road and Riverview Road.
The accident was dispatched as critical injuries. A vehicle roll over, one patient labored breathing, ejected from the wreckage.
On arrival the emergency responders found the patient deceased on arrival. The deceased was in the car alone.
Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd responded to the accident.
ALEA – Troopers are in charge of the accident investigation. The fatality victim is reported to be in his early 20’s.

Skylar Metcaff, age 25, of Pinckard life was claimed in the accident this morning.
