HOUSTON COUNTY: On Saturday Houston County 911 dispatched multiple volunteer fire departments to a structure fire at 2:06 PM located at 7502 S. County Road 81 in Lucy. Houston County 911 reported flames visible, residents have evacuated.
The multi fire engine company response battles an issue to begin with in this area and that is water supply.
Cottonwood Volunteer Fire, Lucy Volunteer Fire, Gordon Volunteer Fire, Pansey Volunteer Fire, Ashford Volunteer Fire and Cottonwood Rescue responded along with Houston County Sheriff Department. This was a working structure fire. All departments worked together as one.
