DOTHAN: 9:50 PM Dothan 911 dispatched a firearm assault in the 500 block of Santolina Road in Dothan. Persons reporting a gunshot wound to a male. The suspect is reported still on the scene and in possession of the rifle.
9:54 PM Dothan Fire Engine Company 10 ( West Main ) is staging on Choctaw. Pilcher Ambulance instructed to stage.
9:55 PM Dothan Police units at the front door of the residence.
9:57 PM Additional Dothan Police arrive.

9:58 PM Dothan Fire Engine 10 request for update. Instructed scene not cleared, continue to stage.

10:08 PM Dothan Fire Medic 10, two Dothan Fire Medics and Pilcher Ambulance are transporting firearm assault victim, trauma alert, enroute to Southeast Health.
10:09 PM Dothan Police unit has arrived at Southeast Health awaiting arrival of ambulance with gunshot victim.
10:09 PM Dothan Police Patrol unit is leaving the scene traveling with Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to Southeast Health.
At this time details of the firearm assault are not known. Dothan Police units are busy with scene and investigation.
