CULLMAN COUNTY | RICKEY STOKES NEWS

A former Cullman County attorney has been indicted on multiple charges after authorities say she attempted to kill her husband.
Court records show Sara Baker was indicted last month on 11 charges, including three counts of attempted murder.
Investigators allege Baker tried to poison her husband by placing fentanyl in his food and drinks.
Baker was arrested in November of last year in connection with the case.
Following her arrest, the Alabama State Bar suspended her license in December.
A circuit court judge from Walker County has now been assigned to oversee the case as it moves forward through the court system.
