WIREGRASS: Monday morning, after the storm, and Wiregrass Electric Cooperative reports 3,633 homes and businesses are without power across their service area. That is 13.23% of the 27,466 customers they track that the utility serves. Of the 6 counties served, Geneva County currently has the most outages, at 2,394 customers without power. Coffee County has the largest percentage of customers out, at 33.58% as of this morning.
Remember, as utility crews work to restore power and get our communities back to normal, we remind everyone to be patient and show these hardworking crews a little grace. They are working long hours and will have services restored as quickly and safely as possible.
