WIREGRASS: Alabama Power’s latest report following the hurricane shows the storm’s impact is still being felt across the Wiregrass, with many residents continuing to deal with power outages.
As of this morning, outages remain scattered throughout the region. Reported numbers include,
*Houston County: 174 customers without power
*Coffee County: 525 customers without power
*Geneva County: 1,583 customers without power
*Dale County: 428 customers without power
*Henry County: 740 customers without power
Utility crews are continuing to work hard to restore power. With outages spread across multiple counties, residents are encouraged to remain patient as crews work through the restoration process. Please give them room to work and use caution around damaged areas.
The Wiregrass is still recovering, and power crews are working to get the lights back on.
