Just after 11 p.m. Wednesday night, Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire, Pilcher’s Ambulance and Dothan Police to Montgomery Highway and John D. Odom Road with a report that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
It’s possible the vehicle was a semi truck. The driver did stop.
The patient was taken to a local hospital under trauma alert with life-threatening injuries and has since been transported to a major trauma hospital in critical condition.
Dothan Police CRASH Team, a specialized traffic division, is investigating the incident.
