DOTHAN: Ozark – Dale County 911 dispatched ECHO EMS, Midland City Police, Dothan Police, Dale County Sheriff Department and Dothan Fire Engine Company 6 ( Napier Field Road ) to a motor vehicle accident with reports of a critical injury.
At the time of the 911 call the 911 Operators were informed a single vehicle accident, overturned, with entrapment.
As EMS began initial assessment of the patient it was quickly determined the patient had suffered one or more firearm injuries.
The patient was extricated from the wreckage and transported emergency, trauma patient, to a Dothan hospital.
The combined law enforcement officers began working together to determined where, how and by whine the firearm injury(s) took place.
Part of Dothan is within the City Limits of Dothan but in Dale County. As of this writing RSN does not know exaactly where the firearm injury took place. The agencies are working together.
