HOUSTON COUNTY:     10:08 PM    Houston County 911 dispatched Ashford Police, Ashford Rescue and Ashford Volunteer Rescue to a critical injury motor vehicle accident at 8322 East U.S. Highway 84 near Ashford.

The reports to Houston County 911 were one vehicle, off the road, in the ditch.

On arrival of emergency units they reported the driver was conscious and talking, but was entrapped. Houston County Sheriff Deputies also requested ALEA – Troopers because the accident was outside the city limits of Ashford.

Ashford Volunteer Fire, under the scene command of Ashford Volunteer Fire Chief Jimmy Posey, extricated the victim from the wreck. Ashford Rescue transported the injury under trauma alert due to the mechanism of injury.

The EMS team on Ashford Rescue was mother and son – Aaron Money and his mom Lori Killingsworth.

Houston County Sheriff Deputy Caleb Sullenberger was on the scene and another Houston County Sheriff Deputy along with Ashford Police.

The car went off the road and into a creek and out of the creek on the other side.

ALEA – Troopers are in charge of the investigation.
