KINSEY: A speeding driver who was reckless placed several people in danger of serious bodily injury or death in Kinsey late this afternoon.
A silver KIA was alleged to be on Omussee Road. The reports to Houston County 911 the KIA was traveling at a high rate of speed. Reports were the vehicle forced another off the road. As the Silver KIA went to turn reports are the driver struck a truck that was stopped at the four way stop. The Silver KIA driver then fled on foot.
The person struck called 911 and some witnesses ran the suspect to a residence. The residence owner held the person at gunpoint until Kinsey Police Chief Jim Mock arrived.
Chief Mock arrested the man identified as Mack Hall from Georgia. Hall faces several charges and was transported to Houston County Jail. At 11:19 PM CST Hall has not appeared on bookings of the Houston County Jail, which the persons are “suppose” to be listed as soon as they enter the jail. The incident took place some almost 8 hours ago and the jail online does not reflect them in the Houston County Jail.
